In the history of our planet, climate change has always existed, but the global warming we have seen since the beginning of the last century has nothing natural about it. It’s an anomaly whose causes are to be found in human activities. The industrial revolution suddenly brought millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and the result is here to see.
NASA considers June of this year the hottest ever (joint record with June 2020). Look at the temperature changes over the last 142 years in June compared to the monthly average (from 1951 to 1980).
The progressive increase in temperature since the '40s is evident (in the graph as time passes, the temperature changes become positive, green-yellow-red color, thus showing an increase compared to the average).
