Why does a cat drop off things?

As we well know cats are very intelligent animals and most of the time we surprise them in unusual and unimaginable behaviors, but there are three reasons why these felines like to drop objects. They do this because they are curious, because of their predatory instinct and because they want attention.

Our sweet kittens by nature are very curious and love exploring the environment around them. It often happens that, if they are teased by an object that has aroused their interest, they try to push it or take it out to capture the possible reaction of that object. When they voluntarily drop an item, the item may assume unexpected movements and positions that will cause the cat to have fun.

We also know that cats, being felines, have their own predatory instinct and this natural aspect leads them to be curious by inspecting everything around them, whether it moves or remains motionless. He will be stronger than him, but our four-legged friend will have to understand by touching him what is before him. Instinct will lead the cat to push or touch with the paws any object.

Finally, cats are animals that love attention and if they do not receive them they get bored and can show it by assuming unusual behaviors and that it is appropriate to capture them in order to help them not to suffer. Such behavior can also lead the little cat to drop objects, for example from a piece of furniture, a table, etc. Often, they do it on purpose because they require the attention of the masters.
